Dry Skin Care Tips For Winter

Tips for normal to dry skin:

Use firstly cleanser containing aloe Vera, lemon and cactus. As Aloe Vera has the power to restore moisture and has potent healing properties. It includes an anti-oxidant which fastens up cell renewal process.

Skin Moisturised:

As the outer layer of skin becomes very dry during the winter, it is important to keep the skin moisturised. Even those people who have oily skin must use moisturising lotion per their skin after cleansing, to keep the skin soft.

Skin nourishment:

For very dry Skin:
  • Avoid use of soap.
  • Apply turmeric-lemon cream before bathing or washing skin. It protects from moisture depletion. It helps to soften skin.

For Hand Skin (Soft Hands):
  • Add some lemon juice in sugar and use the mixture to scrub the hands. It affects softening hands.
  • Massage with cream on the hands soon after washing clothes and bathing.
Use a Sunscreen:

People would like to enjoy the sun during winter but they know little that exposure to the sun can hasten age as well.

Therefore, you must apply a sunscreen 15 minutes before going out to let the skin absorb it easily. If you wait out in the sun for more than 30 minutes, then reapply it.

Heal cracked heels:

First of all soak your feet in warm water at night for 15 minutes. Then, Scrub with a pumice stone.
Then apply apricot cream and tie gauze around the heels of feet like a bandage. Keep it tied whole night.

Repeat the same every night in entire winter.
